Mountain Goat hunting in Colorado is one of the most extreme adventures that you could go on. Goats live in remote, rugged, yet absolutely beautiful country that most people will never get the opportunity to see. We have spent a lot of time in this country and know how to hunt these animals. This is a draw, archery only, for residents only hunt.
Our mountain goat hunts take place in GMU G8 in the Fossil Ridge Wilderness area. There are a limited number of goats making it a difficult tag to draw. For instance you must have a minimum of 3 preference points for mountain goats to even enter the state draw. We suggest resident hunters looking to harvest a mountain goat must begin accumulating preference points sooner than later as it can take many years to draw.
If you are in a situation where you have built up your preference points reach out to us to put your plan together and harvest a trophy mountain goat. This is an extremely difficult hunt at elevations exceeding 12,000’ so we demand our hunters to show up in peak physical condition.
